Chatham House Rules
In building a dynamic community of leading professionals,
attendees are asked to observe the following:
1. Confidentiality of Identity
- You are free to use and share insights gained from the discussion, but you may not reveal who said what or identify any participant without their explicit permission.
2. Respect for Diverse Perspectives
- The Social brings together leaders from across industries. Debate and curiosity are encouraged, but always with respect and openness.
3. Attribution-Free Sharing
- Ideas, stories, and experiences shared during the evening may be referenced beyond the event, but without attribution to the individual who shared them.
4. Private Information Stays Private
- Any personal, commercial, or sensitive information disclosed in trust remains strictly off the record. While attendees are free to exchange personal contact information with one another, the organizers will never share any attendee's contact info without their express permission.
5. No Recording Without Consent
- Audio, video, or written recording of discussions is not permitted unless agreed upon by all participants. The only exception is recordings made by the event organizers for the purpose of allowing members to revisit content from past sessions. These recordings will not include names or attribute comments to any individual. No other recordings are permitted.
6. Cultivate Connection, Not Transaction
- The purpose of The Social is to foster meaningful dialogue, relationships and knowledge share. The formation of win-win business relationships is encouraged, and let us know when they occur. However, aggressive pitches or purely transactional behavior are not in the spirit of the gathering.
7. Membership Benefits
- Members of The Social receive exclusive perks, including special room rates at the Andaz Miami Beach, priority reservations at José Andrés restaurants, special access to select off-calendar gatherings, and other curated experiences designed to enrich the community. Only members may attend such activities.
8. Uphold the Spirit of the Room
- The Social is a safe, elevated space for sharing, learning, and connecting. Every guest plays a role in protecting its integrity by honoring these rules.
